Dr. Nasis manages daily operations at California Stem Cell. She has extensive experience working with startups and early stage companies in both the high tech and healthcare industry, and has conducted both basic science and clinical research. Dr. Nasis is responsible for ensuring that corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory commitments are complied with and integrated into the daily operations. She facilitates the therapeutic, R&D, manufacturing and regulatory teams such they can function effectively and achieve the short and long term objectives of the company. In addition, she coordinates activities related to clinical operations such as developing and implementing plans for meeting regulatory requirements, facilitating interactions among various physician specialists, and overseeing clinical trial design. Dr. Nasis earned a medical degree from New Jersey Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She was awarded a prestigious Merage Fellowship from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California at Irvine, where she completed a Masters in Business Administration. Her diverse background in basic and clinical research, medicine, and business makes her ideally suited to the role of General Manager at California Stem Cell. |
